Button Makers, Button Making Kits - Professional Button Making - Equipment and Supplies

Romic Industries Inc. produced button makers in Canada for many years. Romic worked out of a number of factories in Ontario, mostly in the Toronto area. Romic stopped producing button makers some years ago but if you have a Romic button maker you should be able to easily get parts and carry on. Romic machines are solid metal and work well. The best way to make the most of your investment is to use it.

The best thing about Romic button machines is they mostly used standard dies for standard size buttons - easy to get and inexpensive!!!! Although I have seen a few Romic machines that use the more expensive badge-a-minit button parts, but these are quite rare.

Romic made machines in all the standard sizes. 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2-1/4", 2-3/8" BAM, 2-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2".

Romic Industries made button makers with a number of different types of die sets. Above left and right images show hourglass style button making dies. 2 dies in one. Load shell into 1st die, press, remove dieset and flip die, load pinback into 2nd die, press again to complete button. Centre image shows a standard side to side slide action button maker. The slide action has the advantage of speed over the hourglass style die. The centre image is also an exotic button maker with a built in graphic punch or circle cutter on the top.
